I’m so happy to have found your web site! My maternal grandmother grew up in Lax k’walaams. But I have very little knowledge of her life there. I’m grateful to see some of the culture and beautiful art . Thank you for sharing your talent.

Hi Terry, I really admire your work. One of my favorite works of art is the "Supernatural Halibut" (in the creams and red, not gray)--I have it as an art card that I purchased years ago on a trip to Alaska. I was wondering if there was any way that a large scale print might be available. Thank you for your time, Michael Lindquist

Someone broke into my truck and stole a bag with the Four Clans hoodie in it. I really missed it. I searched all over the web. I just found and ordered a new one. I am overjoyed. Nothing compares to your designs. Thank you.

Mr. Starr, several years ago we were visiting Vancouver and we purchased a painting of yours of a double eagle. It sits above our mantle as our most prized artwork. I am not born of First Nation, but I am 3rd generation in the PNW - Montana and Washington - and to me Alki is my home, from many years and a couple of generations. I have moved a few times to live and work in other areas - Arizona and even overseas - but the salt water and glaciers are in my blood and I have always come back to the place that feels home. I love the painting you produced and it is my favorite artwork. I am getting old now, but whenever I look at your double eagle I feel comfortable and at ease. I am writing this simply to thank you for making art that sets my mind at ease, relaxes me, and makes me feel at home, safe, and comfortable. Thank you. --Steve Paasch (425) 999-0004

Beautiful work.... I now own one of Terry's carvings. Added to some other pieces of mine by Glen Rabina, Randy Stiglitz, Frank White Eagle, and a few others, the collection is coming along really nicely. Hopefully I'll be able to continue adding to the collection.

I don't know if your see these comments or not. I just wanted to leave a note on how I found you. Exploring on Google Maps. I found Lax Kw'alaams to be an interesting name. Googled it then you were listed in the Prominent people of Lax Kw'alaam decent. Just cool how something leads you to another. Your artwork is beautiful. Keep on keeping on. -Leah

Cela vient me toucher droit au coeur. J'espere un jour apprendre comment faire cette peinture . Est-ce possible pour un blanc de peindre comme dans votre culture. Je suis certaine que dans une autre vie j'ai été Haida, cela me touche trop. Merci

Hello Terry, I'm not sure that you will remember me but long ago we knew each other in Rupert. I still have the photographs of you and Sandy Miller that were taken for advertising for my shop in The Daily News! I was recently in Seattle and was given the gift of a trip to a First Nations centre on an island nearby...the was a travel cup with your wonderful design there and it now travels with me! Thanks so much, I really enjoy it and am grateful to think that you went on in art. With kind regards, Zandra.

"There is a spirit there in his work that not all artists have. His work is expressive, innovative, and exquisitely clean."

I am fortunate to own one of Terry's beautiful original art pieces. It makes a great addition to my collection of West Coast Art.
